PROGRAMA Demo Update — v1.0.1

Hello everyone,
I uploaded a small update for PROGRAMA, my 2D sci-fi educational puzzle game made in Godot.
PROGRAMA is about helping E-lis, a small robot, restore broken life systems on a distant dead planet using programming logic. The goal is to make programming feel visual and interactive: you observe a broken system, use logic pieces, insert them into machines, and watch the world react.
What changed in this update?
This update focuses on small but important gameplay polish.
Added
R — Retrieve a piece from a machine slot
This makes the puzzle interaction smoother. If you place a piece in the wrong slot, you can now retrieve it instead of restarting or feeling stuck.
Fixed
- Several visual bugs - Improved puzzle interaction flow - Cleaner machine slot behavior - Small readability and polish fixes
Current demo content
The demo includes:
- A main menu - A short intro scene - 3 playable puzzle levels - A chapter ending screen - Pixel-art sci-fi machines - Terminal-style story text - Sound effects and ambience
This is still a demo version.
The full version is currently under development.
Controls
W A S D / Arrow Keys — Move E-lis X — Pick up a logic piece Space — Insert into a machine E — Drop / return carried piece R — Retrieve piece from a slot
Feedback
I would really appreciate feedback on:
- Are the controls clear? - Does the retrieve button help? - Are the puzzles understandable? - Is the atmosphere working well? - Did you find any bugs?
Thank you for playing PROGRAMA.
More systems are coming soon.
